From day one youll work alongside experienced engineers and skilled manufacturing professionals learning practical skills in a real workshop environment while also attending college through block-release training.
Job Description
What youll do:
During your four-year apprenticeship youll develop core manufacturing skills including:
- Hand fitting
- Mechanical assembly
- Manual milling and turning
- Measurement and inspection
- Electrical wiring and connection
Youll also build knowledge in key areas such as health and safety CAD mechanical maintenance quality control and engineering materials.
What were looking for:
Were looking for people who are curious motivated and ready to learn. You should have or be expecting to achieve 5 GCSE passes including Maths English and a Science or Technology-based subject.
