Rate of Pay: 13.90 - 18.08 per hour
Summary:
An opportunity is available for a Minute Taker to support Children and Young People (CYP) services by producing accurate high-quality minutes for statutory meetings. This role is key in ensuring clear documentation supporting safeguarding processes and maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
Take accurate non-verbatim minutes for strategy and statutory CYP meetings
Produce high-quality concise documents within set timescales
Support independent chairs in preparing and updating child protection plans
Assist in creating simplified versions of reports for families and young people
Accurately record attendee details and maintain meeting records
Input and manage data within internal IT systems
Qualifications:
GCSEs (A*C / 94) in English and Maths (or equivalent)
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Business Support or relevant experience
Essential Requirements:
Experience in minute-taking and administrative support
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and web-based systems
Excellent written communication skills (grammar spelling punctuation)
Ability to summarise discussions clearly and accurately
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to handle sensitive information professionally
