Rate of Pay: 16.97 - 22.32 per hour
Summary:
To support the delivery of supervised Time Together (contact) sessions between children and their birth families where care proceedings are in place. The role focuses on safeguarding children supporting family relationships and delivering trauma-informed interventions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and supervise safe contact sessions between children and their families
- Support children parents and carers before during and after contact sessions
- Deliver parenting support and guidance to families
- Undertake direct work with children including therapeutic and life story interventions
- Contribute to assessments and provide accurate reports on family interactions
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable children young people and families
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
- Ability to manage sensitive and emotional situations professionally
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly including weekends and evenings
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
