Delivery Driver

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rugby to assist with the appointment of a Delivery Driver on a 2-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 14.56 - 18.46 per hour

Summary:

The Delivery Driver role will involve delivering food waste caddies to residents across the borough in a timely and efficient manner. Each household will receive a 7-litre indoor caddy and a 23-litre outdoor caddy as part of this initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food waste caddies to residential properties across the borough
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery in line with allocated routes
• Handle and transport goods safely and responsibly
• Provide a professional and courteous service to residents where required
• Follow all health and safety and driving regulations
• Maintain delivery records as required

Essentials:

• Valid C1 Driving Licence (3500kg to 7500kg vehicles)
• Previous experience in delivery driving or similar roles preferred
• Familiarity with route planning and local area navigation
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
