We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Plumber/Carpenter on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 22.52 - 29.70 per hour

Summary:

We are looking for a qualified plumber to join our team which deals with communal repairs. Someone with knowledge on block shut downs trace and remedy leaks and working with communal pipework.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance within communal areas
• Undertake block shutdowns safely and effectively
• Trace diagnose and remedy leaks within communal systems
• Work on communal pipework ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Liaise with tenants and stakeholders while delivering a high level of customer service
• Ensure all works are completed in line with regulations and best practices

Essentials:

• Proven experience in plumbing particularly within communal or social housing settings
• Strong knowledge of communal plumbing systems and pipework
• Experience in block shutdowns and leak detection/repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
