Role Overview
Stock in the right place at the right time and in the right quantities is paramount to the successful running of the factory and as an Stock Controller you will be responsible for keeping control of how the stock is managed keeping warehouse management systems up to date and accurate and rotated correctly to minimise unnecessary waste and minimise stock related downtime
Core Responsibilities
Ensure that health and safety is given the highest priority and is considered in all actions and activities.
Carry out root cause analysis on stock errors.
Manage the WMS (warehouse management system) to ensure accurate stock keeping at all times making adjustments only when necessary ensuring the adjustments are coded correctly every time.
Conduct regular and rigorous counts as required.
Liaise with the internal supply chain to ensure materials flow efficiently through the factory.
Actively seek ways to improve processes and control cost..
Responsible for meeting high quality stock control standards
Who You Are
Experience in working energetically in a fast paced FMCG environment.
Willingness to live the Gousto culture team engagement and provide a sense of purpose.
Ability to build strong relationships and work in partnership with other departments.
Experience using Google sheets WMS and open to learn other tech systems.
Planning and prioritising workload.
Be curious inquisitive and keen to seek out the root cause of issues utilising basic problem solving techniques (RCA 5 Whys) to drive robust corrective actions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ethics: Honesty integrity and sense of responsibility.
Self-motivated committed and team player.
Qualifications :
