Job Summary

Here at NCHA we have a fantastic managerial opportunity for the right person to join our friendlysupportiveand valuesdriven Young Persons Service in Newark and Retford.

Branching Out supports young people aged 1621 across Newark and Retford. As Project Manager you will leaddevelopand inspire the team to ensure young people receive highquality strengthsbased support that enables them to achieve their full potential.

This is a busyrewardingand dynamic service focused on supporting young people to grow in confidence lifeskillsand independence. Our approach is rooted in strengthsbased practice helping young people build resilience and move forward positively.

Our team plays a critical role in advocating for young people from liaising with partner agencies to secure permanent accommodation through to supporting access to educationemploymentand training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

As Project Manager your dutieswill include (but are not limited to):

  • Recruitingselectingand inducting new colleagues

  • Managing performance through supervisions developmentplansand CLEAR conversations

  • Managing workplace health and safety risk assessments and ensuring compliance with regulations

  • Meeting statutory and organisational quality requirements

  • Developingmonitoringand achieving designated cost centre income and expenditure targets

  • Contributing to wider organisational development initiatives to improve and evolve services

  • Developing andmaintainingstrong internal and external partnerships

  • Working collaboratively with partner organisations and agencies

  • Emotional intelligenceresilienceand a sense of humour

Essential requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Management or Leadership Health and Social Care Housing or another relevant qualification

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (unless a disability precludes this)

  • Willingness to work across two locations

  • Flexibility to work early late and some weekend shifts

Mileage costs will be reimbursed (business insurancerequired).

Work Hours 37 hours a week

The serviceoperates7 days a week 365 days a year. You willbe requiredto work early late and some weekends which will be discussed in more detail at interview stage.
