Likewize Support provide knowledge solutions and technical support for a range of world class brands from banks & cell phone networks to retailers. Our Digital Delivery function creates the content for those support tools underpinned by continuous insight.
Do you have a passion for language and delivering exceptional content experiences Are you fluent in French and ready to help shape localised content for global brands If so we would love to hear from you as we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Language Specialist to join our team.
This role focuses on aiding the translation of content into a native language while maintaining consistency and accuracy across formats. You will collaborate with our client stakeholders internal teams and external linguist resources to ensure all English content created by our internal teams is accurately translated to meet quality standards that aligns with client and company this role youll play a key part in creating and maintaining high-quality user-focused content that enhances the overall experience for native-language users.
Your Key Areas of Focus
Review translations of new and existing content ensuring accuracy clarity and cultural relevance.
Test and proofread various content formats including scripts and text within imagery before they go live with our clients. This could include analysing your own content as well as peers.
Maintain tonality formality and linguistic consistency across all translated content
Utilise internal tools to identify and edit text within images that require translations into the native language.
Regularly review and update existing assets to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Work with internal teams client stakeholders and external linguist resources to ensure accuracy and consistency across all language variants.
Act as a subject matter expert for your language within the team providing guidance and support.
Research and source relevant appropriate and trusted materials in order to fact-check content to upload to client sites.
What Were Looking For
Fluency in French with strong grammar and spelling skills.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Proven experience in translating and proofreading content across multiple formats.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and localisation tools (preferred).
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and without ambiguity
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with usability accessibility and content best practices.
Proactive confident and solution-focused with a strong sense of ownership.
A team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Self-motivated with a commitment to delivering high-quality user-focused content.

Our Bristol Office is less than 5 miles from the centre of Bristol easily accessible by train with a 25-minute walk to the office. Alternatively if you drive we have a large on-site free car park.
