Job Summary
Subject to formal establishment a vacancy will arise for an OF3 to serve as Defence Academy HQ J7 SO2 Directing Staff Development at Shrivenham on FTRS Home Commitment (HC) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 13 Jul 2026 (or earlier/later subject to formal establishment and candidate status).

Todeliver world-class Training and Educationto leadersin order todevelop the intellectual edge needed for success on operations and leadership in government.
Position Role:
To support theDef Acin all aspects of Trainer Development CPD andandTrgMgmtincluding requirement setting design delivery and evaluationoftrainer focusedcourses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide training advice and consultancy to allDefAcColleges and Groupstaffontrgandedupolicy practiceQ&Aand deliveryin accordance withJSP 822.
- DevelopPersassigned tostudent facing rolesviamanagement and delivery of Mil/CStrainerand facilitator training-DHET HEA PGCAP andODSC.
- DevelopManageand implementtheDefAcstaffContinuousProfessionalDevelopment (CPD)strategy.
- Provide facilitatortraining to overseas nationsto support DE and IGobjectivesas directed bySO1Learning Developmentand Assurance.
- Undertakeactivitiesin supportofDefAcT&E deliveryas directed by SO1 Learning Developmentand Assurance.
