Job Summary

Position Role: SO2 responsible for planning and delivering training and assurance of Homeland Defence and Resilience Operations to JMC HQs in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities:

Lead Planner with in-depth knowledge of the Defence Contribution to Resilience HQ RC UK Operations procedures and the national UK Operations working environment iaw JDP 02.
Ensure Wholeforce / JMC situational awareness through the branch co-ord meeting and persistent JMC engagement.
Plan prepare and deliver HQ RC UK Operations Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRX) and Overseas Training Exercise (OTX) Assurance Programme.
Chief Operations (CHOPS) during Mission Rehearsal Exercise (MRX) maintaining situational awareness and output of LOCON / SIDECON / EXCON.
Plan prepare and deliver bespoke UK Operations training packages in support of SJC.
Ensure UK Ops training events (HRX and OTX) are DSAT compliant through Training Needs Analysis and course design.
Manage branch IM/ IX systems.
Complete ITRs and all mandatory and UK Ops training.
Complete other tasks as directed by SO1 UK Operations and Training.
