The Dentistry Optometry and Audiology division is part of the Directorate for Primary Care which plays a vital role in shaping how people experience healthcare from GP visits to dental and optometry services.
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Personal Assistant (PA) to the Deputy Director (Chief Dental Officer) of the division. The role involves working closely with senior leadership providing essential support that directly enables the Chief Dental Officer to focus on strategic ministerial and legislative duties.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Primary PA support to the Deputy Director including diary management correspondence handling and coordination of key priorities (60%).
- Support the effective delivery of Directorate and Division commissions working with Director Support colleagues as required (20%).
- Allocation and tracking of FOI and MiCase requests for the Dentistry and Optometry Division (20%).
- Delivery of ad hoc administrative and coordination tasks for the wider Director Support Team (10%).

This role is a permanent level transfer position.
In this role colleagues are encouraged to attend St Andrews House for an in-office team day every Thursday.
