- Project/Program Management Generalist/Multidiscipline :
- Plans monitors and manages internal projects from initiation through completion
- Leads or coordinates project planning resourcing staffing supply and subcontract management progress reporting troubleshooting and people management
- Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality reliability schedule and cost
- Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes cost adjustments or resource additions
- Responsibilities are within the Project/Program Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Role :
- Contributes to and reviews the project proposal or plan to determine timeframe funding limitations procedures for accomplishing the project staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
- Defines/designs activities starting from existing solutions.
- Coordinates a small team of specialists to implement project tasks.
- Provides the interface and maintains a confident relationship with other contributors to the project.
- Contributes to setting project evaluation parameters.
- May negotiate minor changes to project scope or specification with the project sponsor/client.
- May contact the project sponsor/client at a tactical level.
- Regularly reports project progress to senior management and/or the sponsor/client.
- Contributes to improving/developing systems.
- May manage relationships with external suppliers at a tactical level.
- Scope Variants relate to the size (budget) complexity and/or timescale of the project along with project team composition as principal guides for determining the appropriate job match.
