Job Title: Quality Inspector (CMM Experience Essential)
Location: Blackburn
Salary:per annum
Hours: 38.5 hours per week (half day Friday)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM experience to support inspection activities in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dimensional inspection using CMM equipment
- Program and operate CMM (e.g. Mitutoyo Hexagon)
- Interpret engineering drawings CAD models and GD&T
- Carry out first-off in-process and final inspections
- Use manual inspection tools (micrometers verniers height gauges)
- Record analyse and report inspection results
- Identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis
- Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Requirements
- Proven Quality Inspector experience
- Hands-on CMM programming and operation (essential)
- Strong drawing interpretation and attention to detail
