Job Summary

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a QHSE Officer based in our Doncaster or Widnes depot. The QHSE Officer will ensure our people operations and projects stay safe and compliant by engaging with our teams driving QHSE excellence and proactively managing risk to ensure safety is part of everything we do.

What youll do as a QHSE Officer:

  • Drive QHSE excellence across the business supporting the implementation maintenance and continuous improvement of QHSE management systems in line with ISO standards regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Proactively manage risk developing and embedding robust policies procedures and safe systems of work to identify assess and mitigate hazardous conditions across operational sites.

  • Be a visible QHSE leader on site delivering audits inspections and assurance activities while coaching operational teams to build a positive proactive and valuesdriven safety culture.

  • Lead with insight and accountability analysing QHSE performance data investigating incidents and leading root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventative actions that drive measurable improvement.

You are:

  • Professionally qualified QHSE specialist holding a NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent); Lead ISO Auditor status is desirable alongside a clear commitment to ongoing professional development and active membership of a recognised body such as IOSH.

  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of health safety and environmental legislation ISOaligned QHSE management systems and industry best practice with handson experience implementing safe systems of work including RAMS and Permit to Work.

  • Proven experience in fastpaced operational environments such as energy utilities construction or industrial services with the ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial and operational demands.

  • Proactive and solutionsfocused safety leader with strong interpersonal and influencing skills to engage effectively with frontline teams contractors and senior stakeholders alike.

  • Full UK driving licence essential as the role involves frequent travel between sites and flexible working to meet operational requirements.
