The EDO Data Privacy & Compliance team is working in the dynamic and rapidly evolving field of data privacy. As privacy and responsible data use become a global priority S&P Global is strengthening its focus on compliant secure and well-governed use of personal and enterprise data. The team operates at the intersection of privacy technology and business operations.
The Impact:
As an intern you will gain hands-on exposure to data privacy compliance and governance practices while working closely with legal technology and business teams. You will support real-world projects that involve process optimization data workflows automation opportunities and technology-enabled privacy controls helping the organization safeguard personal data at scale.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Learn and apply key privacy laws and frameworks such as GDPR CCPA and CPRA
Support Websourcing workflows process documentation and identify opportunities for automation and tooling improvements
Audit web crawlers for high-risk URLs identify gaps and suggest remediation for better enterprise control
Contribute to privacy reporting metrics and dashboards to improve transparency and visibility
Support the creation and maintenance of an AI activity inventory for privacy and compliance purposes
Solve problems related to risk identification from specific URLs and their classification
What We Are Looking For:
Students graduating in the year 2027 specializing in Finance and Economics with a good academic track record.
Interest in learning about Privacy and Compliance.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Interest in data privacy compliance governance and technology-enabled controls
Basic understanding of process design workflows or systems thinking
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Curiosity to learn about privacy regulations data practices and AI technologies
Comfort working with tools documentation and structured delivery frameworks
