Application Developer

The Application Developer will be responsible for maintaining/modifying the existing Rafhan Maize applications/websites as well as new development of cloud base requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring all relevant website functionality works as expected and that the website displays well on a range of screen resolutions from mobile to desktop. As a full-stack developer you will work as part of a team to implement new features as well as make modifications and fix bugs in existing code. Your duties will include designing and developing layouts writing code to power the underlying functionality of the website and developing tests for the code you write.

What you will do

• Responsible for working on the new desktop and cloud base application development requirements as per following:
  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean scalable code programming languages.
  • Improve existing software.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
  • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
  • Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
  • Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
  • Integrate external software libraries and APIs into existing projects.

What you will bring

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Developer or Software Engineer
• Familiarity with the framework SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• Knowledge of at least one of languages (e.g. C# Visual ) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST RPC)

Who you are

• At least one year of experience in building large-scale software applications.
• Experience in building web applications
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Experience in unit/integration testing
• Proficient Language HTML CSS.
• Proficient in SQL Server (MySQL knowledge is a plus)
• English fluency both written and spoken
