Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Manufacturing Engineer II where youll contribute to excellence in production processes and equipment this role youll work across functions to ensure high-quality manufacturing operations while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. Youll manage technical projects implement process improvements and provide essential support to manufacturing operations. This position offers opportunities for professional development and impact in an organization dedicated to scientific advancement.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree with no prior experience or Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering in regulated industries (pharmaceutical medical device or similar)
Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering (Mechanical Chemical Industrial Electrical) or related technical field
Professional certifications in manufacturing quality systems or process improvement methodologies are beneficial
Strong knowledge of GMP ISO standards () and FDA regulations
Experience with process validation equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and technical documentation
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma PPI)
Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality control tools
Experience in project management and cross-functional team collaboration
Experience with manufacturing equipment troubleshooting and optimization
Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making approach
Advanced proficiency in technical software (CAD statistical analysis tools MS Office)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages beneficial
Ability to work in cleanroom environments and follow strict quality protocols
Experience with automated production systems and process control
Experience training and supporting technical staff
Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support manufacturing operations
Commitment to safety and environmental health standards
