Job Description:
The Data Governance Process Lead will be responsible for developing implementing and managing data governance frameworks policies and processes across all markets in Prudential including Singapore Hong Kong Malaysia Vietnam Philippines Indonesia CLM and Africa. This role ensures that data is managed consistently and used effectively across the organization to support business objectives and regulatory requirements.
As part of this dynamic role you will report to Senior Director Group Data Governance and work closely with senior members in the organization to deliver the requirements under the Enterprise Data Governance program and institutionalize data quality management target operating model in the businesses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Metadata Management and Documentation:
- Implement metadata management processes to capture and maintain data lineage definitions and dependencies.
- Assist in the establishment of data dictionaries glossaries and cataloging tools to facilitate metadata discovery and documentation.
- Promote metadata standards and best practices across the organization
- Identify gaps in current data governance processes and work with the markets on implementation
- Data Quality Management:
- Establish data quality standards metrics and monitoring mechanisms
- Understand and translate data quality processes both related to data quality issues and data quality profiling requirements to implementation
- Establish and enhance data quality use cases including standard data quality use cases at Group and LBU specific use cases
Required Skills:

- Good understanding of data governance principles frameworks and best practices
- Working Experience:
- 5-8 years working experience
- Relevant experience in Consulting relating to data management or across multiple business disciplines as data governance professionals business process engineers or business reporting functions
- Professional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of tools and techniques of data governance
- Knowledge of tools techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data
- Experience in working in a diverse organisation and across front to back business processes
