Sr SAP FTM Specialist FICO

Job Summary
The SAP FTM Functional Analyst FI provides first level and production support using ServiceNow ensuring
efficient ticket flow timely resolution and high customer satisfaction. The role supports and optimizes Finance
(FI) processes across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA-covering GL AP AR Asset Accounting Banking/EBS Tax and
Cash Management-while contributing to rollouts enhancements and automation. Experience with bank
integrations payment media and XML based interfaces (ISO20022/SEPA/XML) is preferred. SAP CO is required
as a secondary skill to support FI CO integration reporting alignment and reconciliation.

Scope of Responsibilities
1) SAP FI Solution Design & Configuration
Configure and support FI submodules: GL AP AR Asset Accounting Banking EBS and Tax.
Maintain Finance master data (COA payment terms bank data tolerances).
Support month/quarter/year end closing activities and audit readiness.

2) Banking & Interface Integration
Support bank connectivity and payment file generation.
Work with ISO20022 SEPA and other XML schemas for payments and statements.
Support EBS automation including MT940 and CAMT.053 formats.
3) SAP CO Secondary Skill
Support FI CO real time integration for accurate financial postings.
Maintain/align Cost Center Profit Center and Internal Order structures with FI master data.
Assist with FI CO reconciliation and variance analysis.
4) Process Optimization Automation & Efficiency
Identify improvements aligned with SAP clean core principles.
Recommend automation using Fiori workflows and RPA.
Leverage analytics/process mining for continuous improvement.
5) Experience with SAP Fiori Apps
Use FI Fiori apps for journal processing approvals bank statement processing and real time reporting.
Configure tiles and role based access; troubleshoot UX issues.
Promote transition from SAP GUI to S/4HANA Fiori based workflows; recommend UX enhancements.
6) Cross Functional Collaboration & Integration
Collaborate with OTC PTP DTS/MM/PP EWM and GTS for end to end continuity.
Work with Treasury Tax and Compliance for IFRS/GAAP and SOX alignment.
Support integrations with external bank systems and SWIFT payments.
7) Business Advisory & Continuous Improvement
Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Adopt best practices and enhance Fiori based UX for Finance users.
8) Production Support & Incident Management
Provide L1/L2/L3 support via ServiceNow with defined SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Troubleshoot document splitting intercompany postings depreciation runs and tax issues.
Use SAP Notes debugging and tracing tools for issue resolution.

9) Change Management & Documentation
Manage FI change requests in ServiceNow; ensure testing and documentation for CAB/CCB.
Maintain governance documentation; prepare functional specs user stories and test scripts.
10) Testing Deployment & Audit Support
Support SIT UAT integration testing and cutover planning.
Assist Test Automation teams with process steps in scripts.
Support internal and external audits for compliance and data integrity.
Execute data migration (Migration Cockpit LSMW IDocs BAPIs) and provide hypercare.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Finance Commerce Engineering or related field.
8 10 years of hands on SAP FI experience with exposure to S/4HANA.
Working knowledge of SAP CO as a secondary skill.
