Position: Software Senior Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Duration: 9 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift timings: 10: 00 am -7:00 pm

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents
Build and review design functional technical and/or user documentation as needed
Implement Client and Server-side automations within the ServiceNow platform with scripting including but not limited to Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies UI Actions Script Actions Workflows Data Policies ACLs etc
Implement integrations with external systems for the ServiceNow platform with scripting including but not limited to Scripted REST API Scheduled Jobs ECC Queue Event Queue.

Mandatory Skills:

Mandatory Skills (3 must have):

Good to have: ServiceNow Developer with Full Stack (UI experience)
ServiceNow Developer UI development (Javascript Angular Java microservices NodeJS) Kafka (6 months experience in kafka is good)
5 - 8 years of software development experience focused on designing and implementing Java-based microservices architectures JavaScript Glide AngularJS Jelly HTML/CSS and XML/JSON
Experience in ServiceNow architecture and primary applications like Incident Service Catalog Change CMDB KB Self-Service Update Sets.
Ability to Design and Implement custom user interface to provide general availability for internal tools with scripting including but not limited to UI Scripts UI Macro UI Page and GlideAjax
Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous designs using Kafka.
Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
Experience with GitOps and Kubernetes tooling (Helm/Kustomize).
Exposure to Agentic AI / GenAI for workflow automation and intelligent developer tooling.
