Embedded Software Engineer -Testing with CAN and UDS

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in automotive communication protocols. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and debugging software for embedded systems with a primary focus on CAN UDS J1939 and Infotainment features. This role requires a deep understanding of these protocols and their application in various automotive domains
- Proven experience with testing Automotive Ethernet including knowledge of protocols like DoIP (Diagnostic over IP) SOME/IP (Scalable service-Oriented Middleware over IP) and TCP/IP stack Eager to learn and improve own skill
- Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation (e.g. Python CAPL).
- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in an embedded environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong expertise in testing and validating CAN protocol including CAN 2.0A/B CAN FD and various data link layer aspects. Knowledge in any Python framework like Robot or pychamp is preferred
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with testing UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) ISO 14229
- Solid understanding and practical experience with testing J1939 protocol for commercial vehicles and heavy-duty applications including PGNs SPNs and transport protocols.
- Hands-on experience with automotive communication testing tools such as Vector CANoe
- Strong expertise in testing and validating CAN protocol including CAN 2.0A/B CAN FD and various data link layer aspects. Knowledge in any Python framework like Robot or pychamp is preferred
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with testing UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) ISO 14229
- Solid understanding and practical experience with testing J1939 protocol for commercial vehicles and heavy-duty applications including PGNs SPNs and transport protocols.
