Design and implement ARO clusters aligned to enterprise standards HA scale security
Configure cluster foundational components
Projectsnamespaces quotas limit ranges
RBAC and access controls Azure AD OpenShift RBAC as applicable
IngressRoutes certificates DNS and cluster endpoints
Integrate platform services
Container registry connectivity image streams as applicable
Storage classes and persistent volumes
Monitoring and logging integrations
2 Automation from Existing Manually Built Clusters
Assess current manually created clusters and perform a build baseline extraction
Capture cluster configuration operators addons policies RBAC namespaces networkstorage setups
Identify drift inconsistencies and undocumented operational steps
Convert manual steps into repeatable automation
IaC Terraform Bicep ARM for Azure resources VNet subnets DNS Key Vault etc
Configuration automation Ansible Bash Python for postprovisioning setup
GitOps approach Argo CD OpenShift GitOps for clusterapp configurations
Create reusable assets
Modulestemplates for cluster bootstrap addons and standard guardrails
CICD pipeline templates for validation deployment and environment promotion
Implement idempotent automation safe to run multiple times with versioning and rollback strategy

Perform ongoing operations
Cluster health monitoring node lifecycle scaling capacity planning
Certificate management secrets management and configuration governance
Plan and execute
Upgrades AROOpenShift version upgrades patching and change management
Backuprestore and DR drills where applicable
Incident problem management
Troubleshoot cluster issues operators networking storage authentication registry
RCA documentation and preventative improvements

Apply security best practices
