Crisis24Job DescriptionJob Title:Senior Software EngineerDepartment:EngineeringReports to:Engineering ManagerLocation: Bangalore IndiaJOB SUMMARYAt Crisis24 the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for contributing to the current Crisis24 Platform and the next generation platform by this role you will work closely with a team of engineers and QA to design develop scalable Web Applications provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in coding design quality and develop and implement scalable reliable and maintainable applications containerized microservices hosted on AWS utilizing distributed NoSQL data stores along with PostgreSQL and MS with a team of engineers to build cross-cutting services data stores and by example through hands-on coding architecture decisions and end-to-end system design driving technical decisions and ensuring solutions align with business junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews pair programming and knowledge with product managers architects and QA teams to translate requirements into technical code reviews unit testing and integration testing ensuring adherence to quality and maintain CI/CD pipelines promoting DevOps best practices across the secure coding practices and ensure adherence to security standards across the and communicate requirements effectively and work closely with Support teams to address customer and analyze complex software issues to identify root causes and provide effective application performance through profiling benchmarking and architectural in on-call rotations and incident response ensuring system reliability and fast current with new features platform updates and industry trends to continuously improve the Crisis24 degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.3 years of experience developing applications Core Core and REST -on experience with queuing mechanisms such as Kafka and AWS experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL MS SQL or equivalent).Strong understanding of coding standards design patterns and unit testing experience building REST APIs in containerized distributed -on experience with AWS cloud services and containerization using experience with Kubernetes for container ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best knowledge of software architecture principles including microservices SOLID and of secure coding practices and application security with Agile/Scrum development problem-solving analytical and communication above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
