Team Lead Business Development (Field Sales)

About the Role
We are hiring a Team Lead Field Sales to manage mentor and scale a high-performing field sales team. This role combines individual contribution team management ensuring revenue targets and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead manage and mentor a team of Field Sales Executives/BDMs
- Drive team targets along with individual contribution to revenue
- Monitor daily activities including lead generation (710 per rep/day) and conversions
- Implement and track sales KPIs productivity metrics and performance dashboards
- Conduct field visits with team members for coaching and deal closures
- Ensure high-quality customer engagement and relationship management
- Provide market intelligence and strategic inputs to leadership
- Support hiring onboarding and training of new sales team members
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
- 48 years of field sales experience with at least 12 years in team handling
- Proven track record of achieving team & individual sales targets
- Strong leadership coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a startup / fast-paced environment
- Language proficiency: English & Hindi (Marathi preferred for Mumbai)
Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on leader who can drive results on the field
- Experience in B2B sales / NBFC / fintech / subscription-based models preferred
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Required Skills:
