Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced RPG Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries (AS/400) technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RPGLE (RPG IV) development along with good knowledge of COBOL/400 and database management using DB2/400.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400)
- Develop programs using RPG IV (RPGLE) as the primary skill
- Work with CLLE / CLP for job control and automation
- Manage and optimize databases using DB2/400
- Handle batch processing including batch extracts and data loads
- Debug and troubleshoot batch jobs and production issues
- Perform code enhancements testing and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis and delivery
- Ensure code quality and follow best development practices
Required Skills
- Strong experience in IBM iSeries (AS/400) development
- Expertise in RPG IV (RPGLE) - Primary Skill
- Good knowledge of COBOL/400
- Hands-on experience with CLLE / CLP
- Strong knowledge of DB2/400
- Experience in batch job processing and debugging
- Understanding of system architecture and legacy modernization

- Experience with data migration / integration projects
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization
