Job Summary
Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor Cosmetic Industry for our client in Somerset NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6AM - 2:30PM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate
- $21 / hour
Job Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor Cosmetic Industry is responsible for assuring that all Quality requirements are met as they relate to incoming material in process material and Finished role supports Quality Assurance processes initiatives continuous improvement and customer Quality Team Lead assists operations and Quality Management to ensure process control and product conformity is satisfied in accordance with established standard of procedures and position reports to the Supervisor of Quality.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the team of Incoming Quality Inspectors
- Provide training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure proper understanding
- Address and troubleshoot daily issues involving packaging materials and bulk products
- Initiate reviews of non-conforming materials and escalate concerns to management as needed
- Track and manage daily performance metrics making adjustments to meet operational targets
- Ensure all Incoming Quality documentation is completed accurately and submitted to Document Control on time
- Confirm that all packaging components and bulk materials meet company standards and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual in English AND Spanish
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within Quality Control/Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills team members that can work collaboratively with colleagues across all functions.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills including the ability to prioritize personal workload
- Safety Quality Productivity minded in all aspects of daily management.
- Advanced computer skills - proficient with office suite/ Google equivalent applications: Windows Word Excel PowerPoint Access etc.
