Job Description
This role includes 50% travel between locations withinthe Metro Atlanta area.

As an integral member of the VillageMD team you will enable our ability to deliver and execute role-based onboarding and training initiatives for clinical staffandprovidersat Village MD. TheClinical Trainerwill provide training and at the elbow support of new team members using a consistent approach and standard of addition you will partner with operational/clinical leaders to plan develop implement and evaluate regional-specific training standards forthe Georgia Market. You will work closelywith businesspartners to appropriately deliver evaluate and refine our programs with a focus on quality and speed to productivity.
This role includes 50% travel between locations withinthe Metro Atlanta area.
How you can make a difference
Facilitating in-person and virtual based courses and programs for all staff and management team members. Provide coaching and feedback during and after training programs as well as throughout theinitial90-day review period tonew staffmembers.
Conduct training needs assessments toidentifyskill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
Assistin designing and developing creative high-quality interactive ILT (Instructor Lead Training) and VILT (Virtually Instructor Led Training) experiences.
Manage the creation and implementation of agendas and lesson plans facilitator presentations and guides participant workbooks practical activities handouts scheduling and coordination and post-training evaluations.
Analyze and assess learning and development needs within a specific region/role andevaluateandenhancecourse content and materials based on objective data and through various feedback channels.
Understand workflow policies and procedures related to clinical and non-clinical associates and work with Subject Matter Experts to ensure the most current information is being conveyed.
Complies withpolicies and procedures regarding EMR change management for configuration updates and tracking.
Participates in Super User Community and mustmaintaincertification.
Skills for success
The ability to travel when requested/needed to meet patient and provider needs in our service area
Knowledge and experience applying adult learning principles to design implement and deliver learning solutions.
Instructional design and curriculum development skills.
Proficiencyin conducting needs assessments and analyzing training data.
Strong attention to detail and ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within flexibletime frames.
A high levelof personal accountability and ability to work independently.
Ability to be flexible in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.
Strong communicationand relationship skills withdemonstratedsuccess training new team members on the required clinical workflows processes and clinical practices to integrate successfully.
Comfort with data canleveragereporting and metrics to evaluate the efficacy of training and support approaches as well asidentifyskills gaps.
Ability to build andmaintainstrong relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff in their use of the EMR to advance workflows tooptimalefficiency that reflects best practices set by the Clinical Operations team.
Acting as a role model of culture;demonstratingprofessionalism in all providers patient and team member interactions; a true ambassador for the Village Medical brand.
Experienceto drivechange.
Bachelors degree in organizational development business education or related field preferred or 3 years of healthcare/training experience
3 years of learning and development experience; building of role-based curriculums
2 years of experience developing and implementing successful enterprise-wide organizational learning and development programs preferably in a healthcare biotech or pharma environment.
2 years of experience in instructional design/course development
Minimum 3 years of EMR experience (Athena experience strongly preferred)
Appropriate working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of products specifically Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
