Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift Monday Friday
Hours: 7:45 AM 4:45 PM 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a travel assignment in an outpatient clinical setting. The LPN/LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse ensuring high-quality and efficient patient services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under physician or RN supervision
- Obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure temperature pulse respirations)
- Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Perform basic clinical duties such as wound care dressing changes and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia or Compact State LPN/LVN License
- Minimum 2 years of experience within specialty
- BLS Certification (AHA)
Additional Requirements
- No local candidates within 50 miles
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting
