Job Summary

Strategic Partnership Leadership (APAC-wide)

  • Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategy for APAC markets focusing on university relationships and other key stakeholder relationships that will enable grow across Australia New Zealand and Asia
  • Develop comprehensive partnership frameworks that drive platform adoption and student engagement at scale across all APAC markets
  • Lead negotiation of strategic agreements and integration partnerships with Career Management System vendors and educational technology providers
  • Lead annual and quarterly partnership planning processes setting targets and KPIs for partnership performance across the entire APAC region
  • Drive partnership expansion initiatives identifying new institutional and sector opportunities for strategic relationships
  • Collaborate with key internal SEEK stakeholders to ensure a holistic engagement approach to customers where appropriate.

Commercial Operations Leadership (Asia-focused)

  • Develop and execute commercial strategy for Asian markets driving new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Own Asia commercial P&L responsibility ensuring achievement of revenue targets and maintaining healthy margin performance
  • Oversee commercial operations including new client acquisition account expansion and retention strategies within Asian markets
  • Monitor Asian market trends and competitive landscape to inform pricing strategies and product positioning
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop market-specific commercial strategies and go-to-market approaches for Asian markets
  • Ensure commercial operations in Asia align with broader regional strategy and partnership objectives

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a team of professionals including Partnership Managers across ANZ and Asia Commercial and Account Managers in Asian markets
  • Provide strategic guidance coaching and performance management to ensure team members achieve partnership and commercial objectives
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration innovation and excellence in both partnership and commercial outcomes and have robust performance conversations.
  • Support talent development succession planning and ensure effective career conversations are had with all team members.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with SEEK Grad ANZ Commercial teams to ensure alignment between partnership strategy and commercial operations
  • Work with the Head and Senior Manager of Commercial Growth to collaborate with Product Technology and Marketing teams to ensure both partnership and Asian market commercial requirements are reflected in platform development
  • Work closely with SEEK business units to identify partnership synergies and commercial opportunities across the region
  • Contribute to company-wide initiatives including system integrations process improvements and organizational development

Qualifications :

  • 8 years of progressive leadership experience combining partnerships and commercial operations
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing teams across multiple functional areas and geographic markets
  • Proven track record of developing talent and achieving results through others in complex matrix organizations
  • Strong partnership management experience with demonstrated ability to drive institutional engagement and adoption
  • Proven commercial experience with P&L management and revenue growth particularly in Asian markets
  • Comprehensive understanding of APAC higher education landscapes and Asian commercial markets
  • Established network within university career services government education agencies and graduate recruitment sectors across APAC
  • Deep knowledge of Asian business practices cultural nuances and commercial landscapes
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) business intelligence tools and financial analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to translate both partnership insights and market intelligence into actionable business strategies
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills with confidence in representing the organization to both university leadership and commercial clients
  • Negotiation expertise with experience in both partnership agreements and commercial contracts
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Education or related field required
  • Professional development in leadership partnerships commercial operations or relevant industry certifications valued
