The Corporate & Investment Banking Division helps institutions and corporates optimize their investment trading financing and operating transactions. Global Institutional Business team is in charge of developing and building relationships with Banks Asset Managers & Insurers established in the UK.

Are you a Law student or recent graduate looking to bridge the gap between academic theory and the fast-paced world of Investment Banking We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Intern to join our Legal UK team in London.
This internship is designed to be a true learning platform. You wont just be observing; you will be an active participant in the team working side-by-side with senior legal counsels to gain a deep understanding of how an in-house legal department operates within a Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB).
Duration
Initial period: 6 months.
Extension: Possibility to extend for an additional 6 months based on performance and business needs.
What You Will Learn & Do
This role is 100% focused on your professional growth. Through daily participation in desk tasks you will:
Support Real Transactions: Assist the team in active deals across a wide range of CIB products including Banking & Finance Global Markets and Trade Finance.
Develop Drafting Skills: Learn to review and negotiate essential legal documents such as Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs) Reliance Letters and Legal Opinions.
Legal Research: Conduct research into key areas of law to support the teams advisory work.
In-house Perspective: Gain a unique behind-the-scenes view of how legal risks are managed in a global financial institution.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: You should be currently pursuing or have recently completed a Law degree (England) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Law (England).
Languages: Full professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
Mindset: * A strong desire to learn and grow within a collaborative international environment.
Analytical curiosity and a structured way of thinking.
A proactive attitude towards taking on new challenges under the guidance of senior mentors.
Important Requirements
Availability: This is a full-time position starting in May 2026. Please only apply if you have full availability to begin during this month.
