As a Manager Logistics & Freight Management supporting our Supply Chain team you will be trusted to manage global transportation activities lead thirdparty logistics partners and ensure customs compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and compliantly so people everywhere can see brilliantly.
This position may be based in any country in Europe offering flexibility for the right candidate.
Please note: this is a fixedterm contract for 1 year.
In this role a typical day will include:
Collaborating with internal supply chain teams and external logistics partners to solve complex transportation and customsrelated challenges
Managing the movement of goods shipments and freight forwarding activities while ensuring full customs and regulatory compliance
Leading and evaluating thirdparty vendors to ensure service quality performance and continuous improvement
Developing and implementing distribution strategies that optimize operational efficiency and support business performance
Managing individual projects requiring strong project management time management communication and industryspecific expertise.
WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON
Relevant education enabling successful performance in logistics supply chain or related fields
Experience in transportation management freight forwarding vendor management or supply chain operations
Strong technical understanding of logistics processes customs compliance and GxPaligned documentation practices
