The Staff Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational success of the business. This position goes beyond traditional accounting by combining core accounting responsibilities with financial analysis and direct collaboration with operations.
You will help ensure accurate financial reporting support budgeting and forecasting and work alongside business leaders to understand costs improve processes and drive better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close activities
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments
- Assist with customer invoicing and collections
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing financial reports and dashboards
- Support budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze actual vs. plan performance
Operations & Cost Support
- Partner with operations teams on costing and project evaluation
- Track project costs and timelines
Data Integrity & Systems
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems
Audit & Compliance
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Forecast accuracy within 5%
- On-time month-end close
- Accurate financial reporting

Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
- 0 to 5 years experience (internships acceptable)
- Basic GAAP knowledge
- Excel proficiency
