Cadence Design Systems looking for a motivated Lead Software Engineer: ChipStack AI DevOpsto be part of theChipStack AI Super Agentteam in Belo Horizonte-working on the worlds first agentic AI platform that autonomously designs and verifies chips with up to 10 productivity has been nominated as aGreat Place to Workglobally and inBrazil and is also aFortune 100 Best Companies to Work For.
Job Description:
- Build automated regression frameworks that guarantee product reliability as AI models and platforms evolve.
- Develop scalable validation frameworks to stress-test agentic AI flows.
- Collaborate withR&Dto define validation strategies and quality metrics.
- Reproduce isolate and root-cause complex cross-domain bugs.
- Knowledge of modern Web development practices and frameworks on Linux including command line and basic administration.
- Interest in software engineering: language features data structures design patterns unit testing automation tools.
- Validate cloud and on-prem deployments ensuring scalability security and reproducibility of AI workflows.
- Define acceptance criteria and release readiness metrics.
Requirements:
- Complete Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical/Electronic Engineeringetc.
- 4 years of experience inSoftware Development.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environmentwith good Version Control knowledge (Git)
- Strong Proficiency inPythonfor test development automation and data analysis.
- Technical leadership good leadership skills on software quality best practices.
- Strong interest inAI-driven systemsand enthusiasm for working in a fast-evolving technology landscape.
- Deep commitment tosoftware quality robustness and reliability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills inEnglish and Portuguese.
Nice to have:
- KnowledgeofCI/CD pipelines(GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI etc.)
- Exposure tocloud platforms(AWS GCP Azure) and distributed systems
- Familiarity withcontainerization(Docker Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of performance and API tests.
