Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our teamat Dixon Correctional Centerin Dixon Illinois.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
Hourly pay rate: $35/hour
Work Hours: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM
Schedule Rotation: 4-week cycle with alternating weekends
Week 1:
- Work: Sunday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
- Off: Monday Saturday
Week 2:
- Work: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Saturday
- Off: Sunday Friday
Week 3: (same as Week 1)
- Work: Sunday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
- Off: Monday Saturday
Week 4: (same as Week 2)
- Work: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Saturday
- Off: Sunday Friday
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
