Butcher - Dublin
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Butcher Dublin a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.
The role requires a candidate who will be:
Collaborative and a good team player

Key Accountabilities:
Develop a good working knowledge of product placement and inventory control techniques and procedures
Goods inwards and stock controller
Check weigh-in and product specification
Oversee storage of products particularly stock rotation
Carry out end of week stock take for the financial controller
Health and Safety of yourself and others around you
Always follow Sysco preferred work methods and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions
Reporting damages accidents and issues relating to Food Safety
Basic IT skills only required
Hygiene in your department and good housekeeping
Must be willing to support the Butchery team when available
Induction training will be provided
Requirements:
Be a highly motivated individual
Be a team player with ability to work on own initiave
Experience in a fast-paced meat production/ food preparation environment advantageous
Follow procedures to comply with HACCP policy.
Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business as it relates to the job and the safety regulations
Good communication skills
Fluent in English language essential (both written and verbal)
Experience of following food safety and quality procedures and policies.
