Are you a skilled Commercial Roofing professional with exceptional leadership abilities
We are looking for a Service Manager for our Commercial Roofing Division to fill an opening immediately in Indianapolis IN.
The ideal Service Manager will have experience in low-slope commercial roofing managing personnel meeting with business-owners and homeowners regularly to conduct sales and business transactions a customer service focus in their work and ability to interact professionally with customers. The qualified candidate will be able to start all jobs with meeting with customer/business-owner pick up or order all materials for job perform quality control on all jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Start all projects with meeting with customer and business owner
- Mentoring project management staff
- Ensuring timely sourcing of required materials
- Perform quality control on all jobs
- Authorize employee payroll and earnings
- Collect payment on all projects
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license
- Pass a background check and Pre-employment Drug Screen
- 2 years of hands-on commercial roofing experience
- Prior experience conducting sales meetings
- Prior experience with meeting clients and prospects face to face
- Experience with Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and computer data entry
- Former experience managing staff/personnel
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb ladder safely and work at elevated heights on roof tops
- Ability to work 2 Saturdays a month March-November and 1 Saturday a month November-March
- Ability to pull a trailer behind a work truck
- Willingness to work long hours during busy season
- Military service a plus
