Chalet Veterinary Clinic is a multi-doctor companion animal hospital located in Stoughton WI. For over 30 years weve proudly provided high-quality medical dental and surgical services to dogs and cats.

We are seeking apart-time Associate Veterinarian (16 hours/week)to join our supportive collaborative team on a consistent set schedule.

Schedule & Role Overview

  • Wednesdays & Fridays: 8:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m. (set schedule)
  • No weekends no on-call no after-hours responsibilities
  • Ideally:
    • One day of appointments
    • One day of surgery(soft tissue dentistry preferred)

About Our Hospital

We focus on comprehensive high-quality veterinary care for canine and feline patients. Our modern facility includes:

  • Dedicated radiology room
  • Large surgical suite
  • Digital radiography with SignalPet AI interpretation (optional radiologist consultation)
  • IDEXX Catalyst ProCyte and Sedivue analyzers
  • Zoetis Imagyst
  • Ultrasound
  • New electrocautery unit
  • New anesthesia & patient monitoring equipment
  • Complete in-house lab

We provide routine soft tissue and dental surgeries and handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis. Complex cases are referred to our trusted local ER or specialty facilities.

Surgery & Appointment Flow

  • Surgery caseload:24 procedures per day (spays neuters mass removals dentals; orthopedic procedures referred out)
  • Appointments:
    • 30-minute slots
    • 15 per full appointment day
    • 57 on partial surgery days
  • Built-in 12:001:30 p.m. lunch/catch-up time

Our Support Team

  • 3 CVTs
  • 2 Veterinary Technicians
  • 3 Veterinary Assistants

Each doctor is supported by a dedicated technician with additional support available as needed. Our team has strong tenure ranging from 2 to 25 years.
