Software Electronic Development Engineer

Pretoria West

Required Skills and Experience:

BEng/BTech Electrical Engineering
Expertise in designing analysing and implementing power electronics for at least eight years.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining power electronic systems.
Proficiency in CAD software for electronic design.
Experience with simulation applications.
In-depth knowledge of digital control techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards for the railway and automotive sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Design analyse and optimise power electronic converters such as DCDC ACDC and PFC.
Design and implement digital control.
Prepare product-specific test planning and reports.
Prepare all documentation regarding the products.
Maintain and enhance existing products in our portfolio.
Assisting with design and customer interactions pricing.
Formulating bill of quantities.
Technical evaluation of tenders received.
Adherence to engineering standards.
