- Position summary:
- The Senior MRI Technologist serves as a key leader within the department ensuring adherence to safety protocols regulatory standards and accreditation requirements while maintaining daily quality assurance processes. This role includes coordinating technologist schedules managing payroll responsibilities and supporting staff development through training orientation of new employees and performance evaluations. The Senior Technologist collaborates closely with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and ensures the production of high-quality diagnostic images. Additional responsibilities include overseeing equipment functionality by working with service vendors managing supply inventory and maintaining efficient workflow through device queue oversight and productivity standards. The position also requires active participation in departmental and organizational meetings while consistently promoting a professional environment and upholding the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Graduation from a Radiologic Technology program.
- Advanced certification in MR.
Required length and type of experience:- Minimum 3 years current supervisory/lead technologist roleand 3 years hospital experience.
Required licensure certification or registry:- ARRT (MR)
