Schedule: 3x 12 6:30am 7pm Weekends Vary

How youll contribute:

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)who excels in this role:

• Provides direct patient care
• Performs specific documentation in the patients record
• Maintains equipment and supplies and participates in quality assurance
• Communicates appropriate information intradepartmental and interdepartmental
• Assists and participates in staff education and pursues continuing education for personal development.
• Applies knowledge of age-related factors appropriately to patients utilizing appropriate policies and procedures.
• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing grooming and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning lifting turning and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans urinals commodes or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature pulse respiration weight height blood pressure and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean comfortable and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission transfer and discharge procedures including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights phones and pages responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Work Experience

Previous relevant experience or completion of base skills as a registered nursing student

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Licenses: Nursing Assistant Certificate Preferred

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 days
