As Senior Manager WHS Security Systems and Psychosocial Health you will drive the development and continuous improvement of our national Wellbeing Health Safety and Security Management System. With a strong focus on psychosocial health incident management and governance this role plays a critical part in preventing harm and strengthening a positive safety culture across our workforce volunteers and will lead the centralised approach to WHS incident management through the Speak Up system overseeing highrisk and complex matters and ensuring incidents are investigated effectively addressed promptly and leveraged for learning and continuous improvement. Working closely with subject matter experts and senior leaders you will strengthen WHS governance risk oversight and compliance and deliver highquality reporting to Executive Committees and the with the Head of WHS & Security you will provide expert advice on psychosocial hazards guide WHS Advisors across metro and regional environments support bestpractice investigations and help build capability through targeted training and stakeholder is an opportunity to shape systems influence culture and make a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of people delivering Red Cross humanitarian youThe successful candidate will bring extensive experience implementing enterprisewide WHS systems and processes that enable effective incident management including root cause analysis systemic issue identification trend analysis and continuous improvement. They will have a proven track record designing and enhancing incident reporting frameworks and audit processes as well as leading centralised WHS advisory services within complex geographically dispersed organisations. Strong experience in psychosocial health and safety risk management harm prevention and incident investigation at an organisational or enterprise level is also bring:Excellent project management capability organised structured and outcomes-focusedStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsExperience operating in a complex or highly consultative environmentA calm confident approach and the ability to keep work moving in sensitive settingsPreferable skills/qualifications in trauma informed investigationsKnowledge and expertise to manage complex investigatory processes in a procedurally fair objective and trauma informed to communicate clearly on sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality.A high level of interpersonal negotiation and consultation skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective communications and working relationships with a range of internal and external regulatory to operate under limited direction to work with and lead people from diverse backgrounds and create a collaborative working ability to operate in a dynamic environment and to positively affect analytical skills to make sense of complex and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problemsRole RequirementsNational Police Check and renewal every 5 yearsAbility to undertake occasional local or interstate travel (approx. 10 20 days per year) to review Australian Red Cross Retail Shop and Program activitiesBenefits that act for you while you act for humanityWork flexibility: Australian Red Cross operates under a hybrid working model which includes the ability to work some days from home providing you more work/life wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
