Job Summary

The Residential Driver will be responsible for safely efficiently and courteously providing waste removal services to customers. The driver will collect solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transporting to post-collection facilities.

What Youll Be Doing:

The Route: Safely navigating your local Lynchburg routes collecting waste and recyclables using automated equipment.
The Truck: Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure your rig is always in top shape.
The Mission: Being the face of GFL. Its more than trash; its about providing first-class service to your neighbors.

What Were Looking For:

The License: A valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
The Experience: 2 years of commercial driving OR a recent CDL school certificate.
The Grit: Ability to handle the physical nature of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating various weather conditions.
The Mindset: A safety-first attitude and the ability to maneuver in tight spots like a pro.
