Audit Senior / Manager
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: Competitive depending on experience
Experience: Audit Senior or Audit Manager level (UK practice)
Were working with a well-established accountancy practice in Chesterfield who are looking to hire an Audit Senior / Manager to support a growing audit portfolio. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships leading audits from planning through to completion and supporting the development of junior team members.
The Role
- Lead and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion ensuring quality and deadlines are met
- Manage on-site and remote audit work coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders
- Review audit files and working papers providing clear feedback and guidance
- Support the wider team with technical input and day-to-day problem solving
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to a high standard of service
- Assist with workflow planning resourcing and coaching of junior staff
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support the continued growth of the audit function
What Were Looking For
- Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience with strong UK practice background
- Proven audit experience within a UK accountancy practice (Senior or Manager level)
- Confident leading audits and managing deadlines across multiple assignments
- Strong communication skills and a practical client-focused approach
- Comfortable mentoring and developing junior team members
- Good working knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting requirements
