Milliman is seeking actuarial professionals to join our life insurance consulting practice based in Gurgaon. This role is ideal for candidates with 3-7 years of experience in actuarial modelling offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic challenging and rewarding environment alongside a global team of experts.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with our team of consultants working across the globe while delivering high-quality projects to our global client base
- Work on a diverse range of actuarial projects (actuarial modelling valuations pricing business planning mergers and acquisitions amongst others)
- Contribute to research and drive innovative new solutions
- Work effectively and efficiently in project teams led by senior actuaries
- Help develop and maintain client relationships
- Work in a flexible but fast-paced environment
Ideal candidate profile:
- Significant experience of actuarial modelling (ideally on FIS Prophet) with knowledge of modelling best practices modelling techniques model validation and model documentation
- Ability to take ownership of a technical challenge and see it through to a successful conclusion
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- 3-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Actuarial Science Mathematics Statistics Economics etc.)
- Significant progress on examinations from a recognized professional body/institute
- Knowledge of actuarial software and commonly used software is preferred
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment as well as independently with minimum supervision
- Driven and self-motivated
