Job Summary
Shift: 36 hours all twelve-hour shifts every third weekend rotating.
The Johns Hopkins HospitalsCardiac Care Unitis a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit. The staff care for patients with acute myocardial infarction and complications including cardiogenic shock post-infarction angina and congestive heart failure. We also care for many other critically ill patients suffering from severe cardiomyopathies valvular heart disease and life-threatening arrhythmias. This is a cardiac medicine unit therefore patients post- CABG valve replacements transplant LVAD placement are transferred to the CVSICU (Surgical ICU) for recovery.

Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.
1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience.
BLS CPR certification required: AHA Red Cross or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
