Role: Experienced Associate Transfer Pricing
- Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate to join our Transfer Pricing team. The ideal candidate should have a hands-on experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation conducting benchmarking studies completing transfer pricing returns and supporting with advisory and controversy projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and gain exposure to complex international tax issues.
- Key responsibilities
- Assist with the accurate filing of transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting related obligations ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports including Master Files Local Files and review of Country-by-Country Reports in compliance with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
- Conduct economic and functional analyses to support transfer pricing positions.
- Perform benchmarking and comparability studies using databases and other research tools.
- Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and strategies for clients.
- Assist in managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax legal and finance to ensure alignment on transfer pricing matters.
- Keep abreast of changes in transfer pricing regulations tax laws and industry best practices.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Mentor graduate trainees and interns and support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics or Law or a related field with a minimum of second class (upper division) or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transfer pricing.
- Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
- Excellent analytical research and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
