- Monday Thursday 8am 10pm
- Friday 8am 6pm
- Saturday 10am 6pm
- Sunday 1pm 10pm
Desired Length of Employment: Fall 2026/Ongoing Until Graduation
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Job Description:
To provide customer service to students who use Technology Commons. Perform building duties on a daily/weekly schedule and other duties as assigned.
Job Functions:
Technology Commons Lab Duties:
- Assist people authorized to use the Technology Commons Lab facilities. This may include but is not limited to: Supporting and answering questions regarding the use of the HSB Studio
- Answering or referring inquiries to appropriate staff or other members of the Technology Center
- Responsible for the following inside the main lab area including but not limited to:
- Maintaining computer lab facilities by performing routine tasks such as keeping paper in printers changing toner cartridges etc.
- Maintaining the overall neatness of the lab including wiping down equipment or furniture throwing away trash etc.
- Communicating and enforcing policies established for the Technology Commons Lab
- Opening and/or securely closing facilities at scheduled times as assigned by the supervisor
- Reporting faulty equipment to the supervisor so that repairs can be performed
- Responsible for the following outside the main lab area including but not limited to
- Ensuring tables and whiteboards are cleaned and wiped down in classrooms team rooms and other assigned areas or requested.
- Maintaining the overall neatness in classrooms team rooms kiosks etc. including wiping down equipment or furniture throwing away trash etc.
- Maintaining computer lab facilities in kiosks and other public spaces by performing routine tasks such as keeping paper in the printers changing toner cartridges etc.
- Reporting faulty equipment to the supervisor so that repairs can be performed
- Providing support for technological needs associated with events usually outside of normal business hours but also during times when staff resources are limited. This includes but is not limited to events hosted by the Business School faculty staff and students and those who reside outside of the Business School. Support may include anything from training users to providing on-site event support.
- Perform other special tasks as assigned by the supervisor
