About the role
Were looking for an energetic and motivated Assistant Team Manager to support the leadership performance and development of our this role youll act as a key partner to the Team Manager - providing daytoday guidance coaching and operational oversight to ensure exceptional client service and continued business growth.
Youll help drive operational excellence by delivering against SLAs reducing service failures maintaining high-quality MI and supporting the retention and growth of our client base. As a leader youll help maintain team morale support staff development and bring forward-thinking ideas that boost productivity and performance.
When the Team Manager is absent you will confidently take responsibility for running the team - managing operations ensuring service delivery and safeguarding overall team performance. This role is critical in creating a high-performing customer-focused environment where people feel empowered and see a clear brightness of future.
About you
Youre a natural leader who thrives in a target-driven environment and motivates others through your positivity expertise and example. With strong product and system knowledge you can confidently support consultants drive operational improvements and maintain high service standards.
Youll bring a strategic mindset - able to anticipate business needs plan effectively and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. You communicate clearly coach confidently and are always looking for ways to elevate team performance and client satisfaction.
Skills & Experience Needed
- Minimum 2 years experience as a consultant within FCTG
- Strong performance track record consistently delivering results
- Leadership or coaching capabilities with the ability to nurture and motivate a team
- Positive open-minded attitude with a willingness to adapt
- Leadership Level 1 or Assistant Team Manager training
- Ability to multi-task plan strategically and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
- Strong product knowledge and a desire for continuous learning
- Confident understanding of financial analysis P&L awareness and commercial impact of decisions
- Ability to lead by example showing commitment to OBW practices company philosophies and service excellence
- Competence in handling customer needs quality checking and ensuring accurate competitive service delivery
