Job Summary

As an Account Executive within AWS Global Financial Services (GFS) you are driving digital transformations through effective engagement with C-level executives business development executives IT leaders architects developers and various lines of businesses for the most strategic Global AWS Accounts. You are establishing Amazon Web Services as the key cloud technology provider across the strategic accounts you manage promoting adoption of the entire AWS services portfolio to Global Customers.

On a daily basis you empower your customers to solve challenges while attaining both their operational and innovation goals. You deliver business outcomes while guiding them to become more agile innovative and efficient. With AWS our customers benefit from the fastest pace of innovation the broadest and deepest functionality the most secure computing environment and the most proven operational expertise. Our AI ML and Generative AI capabilities are world-class.

Key job responsibilities
Build relationships with business unit C-suite business and technology leaders to identify develop and close significant opportunities that drive innovation and growth for the customer

Foster existing relationships and build new relationships to create new opportunities

Partner with a team of Solutions Architects Customer Solutions Managers Professional Services and Partners to develop and deliver compelling solutions and offers

Contribute to the leadership of a global account team with presence on four continents

Position AWS services ranging from compute networking and storage to serverless to AI ML and Generative AI.

Contribute to critical mechanisms such as weekly and monthly business reviews pipeline maintenance and financial management.

About the team
The team is a high performing and customer-obsessed sales team covering the largest European-based global financial institutions. This role will focus on a large French multi-national insurer.

- - Experience and track record of success in direct sales or business development in software cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
- - Experience working with partners through account product or program management and business development engagements
- - Experience with cloud IT infrastructure and applications AI and ML helpful especially when combined with business application of technology
- - Experience navigating enterprise and global customer C-suites to deliver business outcomes

- - Post graduate degree
- - Experience negotiating and closing multi-year technology contracts
