Johns Hopkins Breast Health Services at Suburban Hospital providesa wide range of services and treatment for optimal breast care in Bethesda Maryland. We have been recognized by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons as a provider of high quality comprehensive cancer care.
We are seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner for breast surgery. This position is 100 percent ambulatory.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct post-operative visits as directed by surgeons
- Perform wound checks
- Review imaging and triage new patients to appropriate surgeon
- Manage own panel of high-risk breast patients and post-surgical follow-up patients
- No OR responsibilities
Work schedule: Mon Fri (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Education / Certifications / Training:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- MSN
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland RN License Maryland State Board of Nursing
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Basic life support certified
- Advanced cardiac life support certification
- Breast Surgery or Womens Health experience preferred but willing to train.

Salary Range: Minimum 60.89/hour - Maximum 94.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
